Ken Campbell is a retired human resource professional with more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of human resource management. Ken spent the first 15 years of his career in the recruiting /employment field working as a staff recruiter for such companies as May Department Stores and the Miller Brewing Company. He was the manager of recruiting for a division of the Coca-Cola Company and instituted the first college recruiting program. He also has experience as a director of training and development within the Coca-Cola family and was the vice president of human resources at Herman Hospital prior to its merger with the Memorial System.


Ken joined MAM in 2014 as a volunteer job coach and in 2016 became a part-time employee as a Workforce Development Specialist. In this capacity he works to identify employers who are willing to consider MAM clients as potential employees and advertise on the in-house web site as well as working with clients to prepare them to apply for advertised positions.

Bob Arroyave is a native of Guatemala who recently retired as a Partner and member of the Board of Directors of Brown & Gay Engineers, a civil engineering firm operating throughout Texas.  A structural engineer, Bob’s first passion was building bridges, but as he rose through his career his passion shifted to building the careers of others.  When he retired, his company noted that Bob “has been a mentor to many, working quietly behind the scenes to ensure the success and recognition of others.”  Bob and his wife Susan both volunteer at Memorial Assistance Ministries.

Heather Buscher is a volunteer job coach at MAM. She is originally from Canada and graduated with an MSc in Petroleum Geology from University of Aberdeen UK. She worked for 10 years as a geologist before changing career tracks to Human Resource Management. Heather has worked as an HR Manager in Africa, France, US and Canada for large oil and gas related companies for almost 20 years. She has been helping clients at MAM showcase their skills and build their networks to ensure successful job placement, since her retirement last fall.

Cecile Klapesky is a native Houstonian, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas-Arlington. Cecile has been working at MAM for over 4 years in different capacities including Emergency Services Intern, Case Management, and currently in Employment Services as the Financial Stability Coordinator. In that role she serves as the lead person for the Short-Term Empowerment Process Program, designed to help working individuals and families stay in their home, save, reduce debt, and achieve self-sufficiency by providing one on one coaching with financial assistance. She coaches and counsel’s clients with resume development, networking strategies, organizational skills, and setting goals, by sharing skills and effective experiences. She values the dignity and worth of each person and believes if serving is below you, leadership is beyond you. For fun she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, and for self-care/stress relief going to CrossFit.
