SCSEP Program Information Session
SER is holding information sessions to help interested individuals, 55 years and older, to learn more about the SCSEP program. SCSEP prepares eligible mature workers for unsubsidized jobs in the private sector through training in community based organizations. Eligible participants will receive an hourly stipend while he or she is in training.
Participants train approximately 30 hours per week, for up to 2 years.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Age 55 years or older
- No work history within the last year
- In need of updated work skills in order to find employment
- Resident of Harris or Galveston county
