    REPORTS TO: FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

     

    This position is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar, following standard recipes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·    KEEPS THE CLUB CLEAN

    ·    CREATES WOW by: anticipating needs and wants, being prepared, being continuously enthusiastic, executing flawlessly and doing it now

    ·    Greets the members by name

    ·    Follows opening and closing procedures in order to keep the Club’s bars at a constant state of readiness

    ·    Accurately takes, relays and serves the members order

    ·    Displays a working knowledge of wine and wine etiquette

    ·    Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Club policy and State law

    ·    Monitors members alcohol intake and reports any potential problems to the manager

    ·    Bills the members account for items purchased

    ·    Arranges display areas to project a clean and  attractive image

    ·    Daily restocking of equipment and supplies

    ·    Requisition of liquors, beverages and supplies

    ·    Keeps assigned area and equipment clean and sanitized

    ·    Maintains overall bar readiness, cleanliness and sanitation

    ·    Total receipts at the end of the shift, verifies and records sales information and turns in the day’s receipts

    ·    Other duties as assigned

     Qualification/Requirements:

     ·         Complete Cross Training in Restaurant, Bar, Banquet and Kitchen Departments

    ·         T.A.B.C. Certified

    ·      Customer Service Attitude Must be able to communicate with members

     Education/Training/Experience:

     ·    High School or equivalent required

    ·    Minimum of 2 years bartending experience

     Essential Physical Requirements:

     ·    Ability to Lift/Carry 20 lbs or less constantly; 67-100% of the time

    ·    Ability to Push/Pull 12 lbs or less frequently; 34-66% of the time

    ·    Ability to bend, twist, turn, reach outward, handling, fingering, stand, walk, talk and hear constantly; 67-100% of the time

    ·    Ability to squat, kneel, reach above shoulder frequently; 34-66% of the time

    ·    Ability to climb, taste, smell and work above shoulder occasionally; 1-33% of the time

    ·    Ability to work inside 100% of the time 

    ·    Noise level is: Mid to high
