    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the HR Service Center Manager, the HR Service Center Representative is responsible for engaging as a member of the HR Service Center team. The HR Service Center Team is focused on delivering high quality service and tools to employees, managers and HR partners across the company. This role provides the opportunity to become a subject matter expert on company policies and practices, HR data and systems, and apply this knowledge via various transactions, tasks and projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Deliver superior customer service as point of contact for employee, manager and HR business partner questions and HR requests.
    • Work independently to find answers to complex HR questions and clearly communicate resolution to all parties; escalate according to established standard operating procedures.
    • Provide accurate, reliable and timely guidance.
    • Utilize case management system to record all contacts.
    • Recommend improvements to policies and practices for continuous improvement of HR and the HR Service Center.
    • Support other HR initiatives as needed.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Advanced mathematical aptitude, strong analytical skills.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing.
    • Robust interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Well organized with finely tuned attention to detail.
    • Proactive approach to resolving issues.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task in an active call-center environment.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Works independently and collaboratively within a team environment to produce results.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ related experience and/or training. Knowledge of benefits and payroll preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email communication.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including foreign currencies, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strong mathematical aptitude preferred, as demonstrated by utilization of Excel.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to think conceptually, judgment and decision making is required for solving problems.

    Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour
