    Growing Company in chemical distribution and blending/packaging services has an immediate opening for an organized Bookkeeper to join our team! This individual will be managing full cycle Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Accounts Receivable including progressive billing and collections. Responsible for organizing files and maintaining records. This position will also be responsible for resolving vendor and customer billing questions or inquiries with excellent communication skills.

    Accounts Payable

    • Input of vendor bills, matching with purchase order receipts
    • Ensuring invoices are properly coded and filed
    • Preparing weekly check runs
    • Reconcile vendor statements monthly
    • Monitor accounts payable aging report

    Accounts Receivable

    • Maintain customer files with credit limits, terms and proper sales reps
    • Set up new customers and perform credit checks
    • Monitor customers credit limits and terms
    • Preparing invoices for clients
    • Posting payments to customer accounts
    • Make deposits and reconcile with QuickBooks
    • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments
    • Follow up on past due payments and making collection calls

    Accounting & Maintenance

    • Assist in month end and year end close
    • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other financial records
    • Assisting with financial reports for month-end close
    • Sales taxes as necessary.
    • Quarterly and year end filings as necessary.
    • Reconcile bank statements
    • Maintain chart of accounts
    • Assist with monthly GM reports for sales reps
    • Tag and monitor fixed assets and enter journal entries
    • Maintain customer files with credit limits, terms and proper sales reps
    • Ensure all documents & forms are updated on SharePoint for customers and vendors
    • Assist in ISO compliance

    Required Qualifications :

    • 3+ yrs. experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
    • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Well organized and ability to work independently
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Efficient data entry skills
    • Strong Experience with Microsoft Office suite; Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight

    Compensation :

    Salary (commensurate with experience), medical & dental, and profit sharing plan.
