    Job Introduction The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Guest Services Associate (GSA). This role centers around effective and consistent communication made available for all visitors. The GSA will be ultimately responsible for interacting in a professional, friendly manner at all times when in contact with visitors whether at the Guest Relations Desk or providing tours. You also must possess impeccable grooming and personal presentation matched with natural warmth and refinement; exemplary problem resolution skills, keen listening skills, engaging social skills, computer skills, and organizational skills. As a GSA, you will be expected to welcome and interact with VIP guests and deal with any queries big or small in the most professional manner. This position greets visitors, issues access badges and gives directions to places within the complex.

    Main Responsibilities
    • Customer service; greet employees, clients, visitors and guests; serve as the administrative liaison between our internal and external customers; Meet and greet all VIP guests / visitors at the client site
    • Conduct safety assessment; observe and report; watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security or safety hazards
    • Access control; create badges for visitor, photographs, create and activate/deactivate employee access badges, program of access using the Fast Pass software program
    • Provide an exceptionally high level of service, knowledge and dedication to site staff and visitors; work closely with client staff to ensure visitor needs are addressed and handled appropriately
    • Represent client by serving as an extension of the organization to executives, staff, and visitors
    • Remain abreast of daily client events through bulletins, intranet releases, and communication with key personnel
    • Assist client executives, administrative staff, security staff, and visitors with light administrative assistant duties including but not limited to: copying, faxing, phone answering, and filing
    • Partner with client personnel and gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s principles, values, goals, and vision
    • Ensure that unexpected visitors have proper authorization before permitting their entry
    • Answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, taking messages with accuracy
    • Issue site safety orientation via electronic media device and assist with any technical troubleshooting or problems that may arise and ensure that all visitors are familiar with the site’s rules and regulations
    • Assist in coordinating arrivals of executive visitors; implement security policies and procedures established by client management with regard to arriving and departing visitors, VIPs, etc.
    • Handle car service requests for client executives, administrative staff and visitors
    • Coordinate arrivals and departures with Security; carry out duties ranging from restaurant referrals, to providing maps and directions, to providing a wide assortment of amenities

    The Ideal Candidate Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Texas Security Guard License
    • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license

    Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
    • Minimum of 1 year meaningful and verifiable administrative work experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of work experience with customer service or receptionist duties in a high profile corporate environment
    • Prior work experience involving direct interaction with executive-level clientele and guests
    • Work history to include demonstration of each of the following:
      • Self-motivated and must be able to work with little direct supervision
      • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken; attention to detail, accuracy, punctuation and grammar
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive employee and proprietary client information
      • Ability to deal with ambiguity and handle stressful and difficult situations with composure
      • Prior work experience managing or overseeing client correspondence with a high degree of skill, urgency and timeliness with the demonstrated ability to prioritize and anticipate needs

    • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
    • Internet proficiency and knowledge of web-based applications
    • Competency in resolving complex problems, with strong analytical skills, lateral thought ability
    • Excellent guest service skills, phone presence and professional demeanor
    • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage projects concurrently from start to finish
    • Ability to refer visitors to hotels, restaurants, and other points of interest while providing maps and or directions
    • Ability to type forty (40) words per minute
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Active listening skills
    • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
    • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
    • Attention to detail

    Other
    • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
    • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule when necessary
    • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
    • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
    • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
    • Upon acceptance of a job offer, must be able to pass the following:
      • MMPI - Psychological testing
      • Physical exam
