Employment Services -- Getting Started
OK, so you are interested. How do you get started?
First, we suggest you register on this website. Provide as much information as possible ... we will not give this information to anyone else. Once you are registered, feel free to start using the site. Read our advice articles, check out our curriculum, look for posted jobs, or upload your own resume. You don't have to come to our offices to use this website.
Second, come visit us when you can. Plan to attend one of our orientation sessions. We have them daily at 10:00am Monday through Friday. Please be here promptly at 10am so we can start on time.
We are located at 1625 Blalock, just slightly north of Long Point in Spring Branch. Come in on the north side of the building at the "MAM Services" doors.
Once you have been oriented -- and it will take about 15 or 20 minutes -- then you will get to decide whether MAM's Employment Services programs are for you. If not, no hard feelings. We aren't for everyone. But if so, we will schedule a one-on-one assessment of your situation. Most of the time, the assessment will be same-day, but sometimes we will need to schedule it for a later date, depending on our staffing that day and how busy we are with other clients.
The assessment will usually take 30-45 minutes and will be individualized to your situation. We will determine, together, how we think MAM's Employment Services program can best help you.
We will prescribe for you a course of action, and if you take the initiative to work on it, we'll be here to work on it with you.
For those of you who like to come prepared ... here are the forms you'll be asked to fill out .... please fill them as COMPLETELY as possible:
