Description

This workshop will teach you that there are three different ways to find a job ... and you need to be doing all three of them if you want to accelerate your job search without going stir crazy.

You'll learn that you're probably spending too much time sitting behind a computer, and that you need to get out there and meet people.  You'll learn the difference between "finding your 'in'" at an employer target versus pure networking ... they aren't the same thing and if you approach them improperly, you'll mess it up.

We will talk about these and other questions in this foundational discussion of how to effectively spend your time searching for a job.  Come ready to participate, laugh and have a good time.

Please RSVP using the "registration" button on this page, or let Elizabeth Salathe know you are planning to attend.  It's free, thanks to the partnership between Belhaven University and Memorial Assistance Ministries.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.
