Cathy Glowacky is a native of the Galveston mainland area and a long-time resident of Houston.  She is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Human Development.  Cathy has worked in a variety of roles in the past including case worker for foster care children and administrative assistant in the fields of commercial real esate and corporate law.  She is married and enjoys various types of service work that help others improve the quality of their lives, including her volunteer work at MAM.

Mary Fitzgerald is a 16 year employee of MD Anderson Cancer Center, currently working as a Research Manager in Behavioral Science.  She has worked extensively in behavioral research with ovarian cancer patients and currently manages community-based studies involving tobacco cessation and prevention using multimedia.  Mary was born in Hartford, CT and lived in the Northeast (New Jersey, New York City) and the Midwest  (St. Louis, Missouri and Cincinnati, Ohio) before settling in Texas. 

She received her undergraduate degree at UT- Austin and her Masters in Clinical Psychology at University of Cincinnati.   In her free time, Mary enjoys birdwatching and opera with her husband.
