The sixth workshop in the Employment Certification Program series focuses on the following topics relating to the soft skills necessary to thrive in your new job:  

 

We will assemble at 4pm (sharp).  Here is the agenda:

  • 4:00pm           Working with Others       
  • 4:30pm           Conflict Resolution          
  • 5:15pm           Professionalism              
  • 6:00pm           Q&A, Homework               

 

You must be a registered MAM Employment Services client to attend.  While any registered MAM Employment Services client may attend, only pre-qualified clients may use it as credit towards MAM's Employment Certification Program.

Speaker Mary Fitzgerald
Mary Fitzgerald is a 16 year employee of MD Anderson Cancer Center, currently working as a Research Manager in Behavioral Science.  She has worked extensively in behavioral research with ovarian cancer patients and currently manages community-based studies involving tobacco cessation and prevention using multimedia.  Mary was born in Hartford, CT and lived in the Northeast (New Jersey, New …

Mary Fitzgerald is a 16 year employee of MD Anderson Cancer Center, currently working as a Research Manager in Behavioral Science.  She has worked extensively in behavioral research with ovarian cancer patients and currently manages community-based studies involving tobacco cessation and prevention using multimedia.  Mary was born in Hartford, CT and lived in the Northeast (New Jersey, New York City) and the Midwest  (St. Louis, Missouri and Cincinnati, Ohio) before settling in Texas. 


She received her undergraduate degree at UT- Austin and her Masters in Clinical Psychology at University of Cincinnati.   In her free time, Mary enjoys birdwatching and opera with her husband.
